Use the Nature House Purple Martin Safety System with Pole to bring a martin colony into your yard. This package features the safest martin house system on the market, perfect for all level of martin landlords. Made of durable aluminum, the house is lightweight, helping dissipate any heat buildups in the 6"L x 6"W x 6"H compartments. These compartments may also be enlarged, for six 6" x 12" nest sites instead. The aluminum body and white color aid in maintaining a comfortable temperature for the martins. A single guard rail along the 4" porches protects baby martins from falling out of the nest, and gives adult martins perching spots. Even more resting and lookout room is offered with the single rail on each side of the home and the included roof perch. The lightweight house is simple to raise and lower on the included rope lanyard. Use the rope to raise or lower the house a few inches or all the way to the winch, as the locking system can move the house as little as an inch at a time. This system is safe for novice and expert martin landlords of all ages, and lets you easily perform nest checks and cleanouts. Each of the compartments has swing-out doors for easy access, and Dri-Nest subfloors elevate nests 0.25" above the floor for additional drainage and parasite control. Twelve winter door stops help you close the home during martin migration, and an included ground socket provides stability to the pole and house.
